Hey Everyone,

I just recently finished my first year at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and I constantly find myself saying, “What happened?  Where have I been?”  It’s been a crazy year (I say that a lot, too).

As you may have noticed, Heather and I have been married for four months now.  It isn’t a long time, but both of us have felt extremely comfortable in our new roles.  We have learned to move beyond living for ourselves and living for each other.  She has been a constant source of prayer and strength.  God has blessed me with her diligence and considerate insight.  Continue to pray for growth in our relationship.

In other news, Heather found a job working at Electric Insurance.  She is a Customer Service Representative.  She is still in training, but she enjoys her work.  This job has been both a blessing and a curse (ask her about her testing ordeal).  We thank God that He has continued to support and care for us.

I have finished my full second semester.  So far I have completed: Greek I and II, World Missions of the Church, Church History I, Interpreting the New Testament, Spiritual Formation, Preaching 601, and The Use of Liturgy in Jesus Films.  Over this upcoming summer, I will be taking Preaching 602, Theology of the Pentateuch, Exegesis of Philippians, OT Survey, and NT Survey.  My summer will be packed.

Also this summer, my three sisters will be visiting in June.  Heather and I will be going to at least three weddings, and we will be making a trip to Erie to visit the folks.  If you are in Erie on July 4th, please stop by at First Baptist Church of North East, I will be preaching on Philippians 1:1-11.

Anyway, I hope all is well, and we will try to write more often,

Christian Eriksson
